ATP Rottnest Camp

Day before:
I packed on Tuesday. Packed stuff I didn't even use, what a waste of space. Especially because my bag was the smallest bag there was. xD

First Day, Wednesday:
Got to Fremantle, got to the jetty before Gel and Shez (because they got lost, lol). Boarded the ferry. Got seasick, nearly vomited but didn't. Because we reached the island by then. Thank god. But poor Gab didn't make it.

I didn't bring my own bike (which hasn't been used and washed for more than 5 years), so I had to hire one. Freaking hell. Took me forever to get used to riding a bike again (last time I rode a bike was 2/3 years ago). But at least I didn't crash into anything or anyone in the first 5 minutes(unlike Sheryl who crashed into Daniel). We rode around the island to get our bearings or something like that. Not that I did, because I was just following the person in front of me and I was at the back of the pack. Then Harry (who I was following) disappeared so I didn't know where to go. And there were people behind me following me. Shiat much? Then I saw Harry again, rode towards him and ultimately down steps. T_T Butt painful much?

Got to Kingston Barracks (we were staying in Governor's Circle), broke into our dorms (because Mr Hanna didn't get the keys to the dorms and we were outside with our luggage, and it was raining), only to find out that the dorms haven't been cleaned. And Fred came in right after we got in our dorm, which then become his second dorm. So we left our bags inside, and went to lunch. Only to find out that lunch was crap. And there were a noisy bunch of primary school kids. Hmmm.

After lunch, we went to get our bikes to go to Oliver's Hill. I apparently wasn't even halfway before I stacked it on my bike. To go into detail, it was down hill, the person in front of me was slowing down, I panicked and slammed on the brakes. Right-hand brake is the front break, left-hand brakes were the rear brakes. Since I'm right-handed, and it was down hill, I went over the handles bars and off to my right. And Gab crashed into the back of my bike. So yeah. A visit to the Nursing Post, a long long visit.

I got a lift in the ambulance back to the dorms, were I rest for a while. Before wanting to go to the shops (which were in the Settlement) because everyone else was there, and I had to get postcards for Leigha. xD So we walked. As we got there, I took photos of a peahen, and everyone was about to leave. But Sheryl stayed behind, told me and Gab that we didn't miss out on much because all they did was cycle up and down random hills, just to listen to a guy that talked about a gun for an hour. And she was tired from riding. She bought Subway cookies. Me and Gab got a free cookie. :D

So us three walked back, those two becoming my eyes for Quokka hunting. I saw a baby Quokka with it's mama! Totemo totemo kawaii!!
Quote of the day: Is that a Quokka or a stain on the fence?

We got back, saw Mr Miller arriving in his plane, and there was a bit of free time. And Fred came over. Again.
Mr Miller took us to the beach behind our dorms. I walked back soon after I got there, because I was cold. And I didn't bring my camera. How stupid.

Dinner was curry and rice. Dinner was shit. Dinner was crap. Dinner was donkey. Seriously. They put salt in the rice, the rice was undercooked, overcooked and cooked in way too much water. The curry was disgusting. Urgh. But dessert was good. Icecream is always good. Mr Miller made a really bad speech. But not as bad as Marget's speech. Nearly though. Nearly.

Went back to dorms. I've forgotten what happened, but I as the last to shower, mainly because I would need help getting clothes off. I went to bed whereas everyone else stayed up late talking. However, I needed help getting my sleeping bag zipped up (the zipper got caught). So I got back up with my torch. And the other girls went quiet. Dead quiet. So I opened the door and said, "Why are you so quiet all of the sudden?" only to find out that I scared the shit out of the other girls who thought I was a teacher. All this to get help into my sleeping bag. -.-

Anyway, I only got 5 hours of sleep, everyone did. Apparently Fred wanted to come over because all the other guys were doing was playing DS or something boring like that. We didn't let him.

That's it for now. I'll update later.
